Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) seeks a passionate counselor/advocate to work in its Pittsfield office to provide counseling and advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. This position includes overseeing the Housing Stabilization Program providing transitional housing with strategic economic and housing advocacy for its participants.

Primarily North Adams

Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) seeks an advocate to provide support, advocacy, and crisis response for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in county courts through our SAFEPLAN Program.  This position is primarily based in Northern Berkshire District Court with some coverage in Central Berkshire and other courts as needed.

North Adams

Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) seeks a passionate counselor/advocate to counsel and assist survivors of domestic and sexual violence through our North Adams office. This position includes 10 hours/week specialized work with LGBTQ survivors as part of EFC’s LGBTQ Access Project. Bilingual candidates (English-Spanish) and LGBTQ candidates preferred.

Elizabeth Freeman Center seeks a dynamic Prevention Educator to provide violence prevention and sex education programming primarily to local students and youth. Passion for working with youth, knowledge of domestic and/or sexual violence, and/or commitment to social justice strongly preferred.

CIVILIAN ADVOCATE
Counselor/Advocate to work with Pittsfield and Adams Police Departments, Berkshire County 

Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) seeks a passionate counselor/advocate as a civilian advocate to assist survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking referred through our work with the Pittsfield and Adams police departments or who live in the covered communities. The civilian advocate also serves as a resource to the departments for information, referral, training and follow-up. The position includes community education and outreach.
